Knutsford – a charismatic Cheshire town rich in heritage and full of quirky features, like ginnels, cobbles and courtyards. There’s plenty to explore from ‘Top Street’ to ‘Bottom Street’ – boutiques to antiques, galleries of art and interior design, excellent restaurants and coffee shops.
Redhouse Farm Shop & Tearooms – fresh farm produce and local specialities. Redhouse Farm is also home to a huge maize maze, with a different theme each summer, and the Halloween Spooktacular ensures fun and frights every October half-term!
The Trafford Centre is one of the best shopping centres in the North West. It’s just off the M60, Manchester’s orbital motorway, and is easily reached by car or shuttle bus. With over 230 of the top retail names, there’s something for everyone. The extensive food court has over 60 cafes, restaurants and bars – and the entertainment zone has a 20 screen cinema, 10-pin bowling, rock climbing and dodgems!
Salford Quays is a great combination of entertainment, shopping and culture – there are theatres where you can see plays and concerts, cinemas, museums and lots of places to shop and eat. The area used to be the terminus of the Manchester Ship Canal – and you can still get there by boat by taking a cruise down the canal from Liverpool.
